The Martyrs, we thank thee.
The most selfless of a species plagued with greed.
The children of the Universe thank you still
Heard in loving whispers and happy tears.
A sacrifice as genuine as yours is without any guarantees, but for you we give the stars of the Galaxies.
The loving embrace of the Yellow Dwarf
Reaches for you still in the coldness of space.
We sing our praises now
And wish you an eternal life, forever with grace.
