Paranoia Poem by Sagar Garg

Paranoia

Rating: 3.0

Tick tock tick tock tick tick
Turn the head stare at the clock
Not the perfect peace, it's the hostile silence
Don't hold back, go out
You're just paranoid Let out a shout
Its the fear that holds you back
The fear of being rejected, Neglected, unaccepted,
Fear of turning into a castaway.
You need some assurance
Assurance of someone's presence
Presence that doesn't need to be proved
In your mind, you start feeling something
Your head turns and stares at the clock
It still ticks and still tocks
But its not hostile anymore
You want to celebrate but the lips dry out
Because ….
You know in your head
Your paranoia gets out more
