Paranoia Man Poem by Aven Black

Paranoia Man

Rating: 5.0

You know I stay in a little
Broken place I call home
I know it ain’t very much
But it’s a place of my own
And if you can look past the floors
That creak in the night
If you can stand the swollen doors
That just don’t close that tight
Then you can sleep alright
Just don’t draw any curtain
In my humble little abode
What he wants, I’m not certain
He’s staring from across the road
There he’s always been
And maybe he’ll always be
The creepiest thing I’ve ever seen
But I don’t let it bother me
He means no harm
I can only hope
People seem to be alarmed
That he carries a strangling rope
I don’t really mind
Because I certainly know
If he leaves that rope behind
He’ll have nothing else for me to show…

Bloody and marvelous work, yes paranoia man has a friend and she is almost as scarey as he, but we know, like is attracted to like and thankfully these two don't meet often enough to stick us in permanent fear of the pair...smiling at you, Tai
