Pardons Poem by olivia helmes

Pardons

seedless fruits of love lay in my courtyard
past and present blend into a chaotic fog to disguise my view
a lake of uncertainty and a ship of fear keep me from my happiness
if it wasnt for these my divine blossom i would hold you
lions of regret chew at my heart for a mistake madeupon childish fears years ago
divine blossom your true mate he, i, sit and regret here all alone
