Parents'words Poem by Raghurama Raju

Parents'words

Rating: 5.0

When-
The the sun is in the centre of the sky,
The busy roads become empty,
A lonely bird waits on a tree for its mate,
My woman and me are alone in the house,
A book spreads its wings on my chest,
I rock in a chair with my eyes shut,
Then-
I travel back into my youth
And try to understand the words
my parents spoke!
