Paris Revisited Poem by sarah fernando

Paris Revisited

I shall not forget that scene
By the Seine many years ago;
Just wed, Paris was our dream.
Life simple, the moment prized,
The tower climbed, life loomed ahead.

Now as I stand with daughter
On that same bridge of dreams;
Enjoying the Parisian scene,
I send you streamers of thought -
Dusk falls, I love you.

Beautiful rendition of words to utmost justice. Lovely poem well articulated and elegantly brought forth from the heart with conviction. Thanks for sharing Sarah.
