Part 1: Sip Of Future Poem by Muna Moons Ahmed

Part 1: Sip Of Future

Eyes stared at me over a cup of tea
Across a table not so long ago
They stared right into me
There wasn't much I couldn't forego
Some moments are just meant to be
Lifting off each of life's tedious cargo
I tell a story that started with a cup of tea

True is the theory that emotions charge
How could I have known what it would brew?
Oh Yes hearts had already had a merge
Strangeness they outgrew
Emotions did over pour in a surge
Unlike any flood I knew
Cupid had indeed taken charge

The evening couldn't come to a close
Before fate played its first Ace
A mobile charger would have been my loss
Cupid was fast to spare me of this stress
It rewarded me with a perfect rose
With imprints of purity in its face
Such was the reason we drew close

Every good deed deserves a Thank you
But I never heard of one that was a pick up line
Playing hard to get is what we like to do
Prelude to moments pristine
I could picture us being a perfect two
I being yours and you being mine
For I had fallen in love with You
