Part In Whole Poem by Steven Rodgers

Part In Whole

Growth eternal soaks the passing of a day,
And boils not the eyes that watch the flame,
In frozen locked the truth will melt away,
Shall ne'er the wild passion beast be tame.
In tame thou fire dims to bare a lick,
Nature twists repelled by driven goal,
Thy being is for none to play a trick,
Thy tangent life is part in whole.
