Parties Poem by Randy McClave

Parties

So many people think they are a smarty
When they think of our land of the home of the free,
They will happily bleed and die for their party
While not wanting to save and help their own country.
When their party is not in office they want their country to fell
And they don't care if towards their opponents they are tougher,
They don't even care if their country goes to hell
And they don't worry about who it might pain or suffer.
Sad, it is when they believe the rich should make more
Even though the believers are the retired or the middle class,
They seemingly don't care about the needy or the poor
They don't care how much the wealthy had amass.
They hate and they despise the immigrant
And they hate people who believe not like them,
They believe there are our enemy on the southern front
And they want them to sink and not swim.
They will always vote for the party and never the person
No matter what that person believes,
They care only of their wealth or about their lies or cursin
And they don't care if they are con artists, traitors or even thieves.
Some people will follow their party to an extreme
They don't care about rumors or gossip or lies or hate or sin,
Not caring who it causes to hurt or curse or even scream
Just as long as their party does win.
