Party Poem by Adeeb Al-Fateh

Party

Rating: 5.0

Let me come here
to the petaled womb of dreams
where I live in withered

No moonlit is dancing here
you are alone in the ripple of the light

Blooming fragrance is swimming
in the cadence of rain
The drought of life stumbles

From the palm tree of your yard
I pluck the abstemious of heart
without pink thorns

Stale venom of love
Whispers between the beaks of drone

No together but
Enjoying get together party

"Stale venom" sometimes what we call love is not love at all!

Wonderful poetic expressions with amazing and vivid images. The thought provoking closure line says it all.
