Passenger Poem by Georgina WilksWiffen

Passenger

Vast scales of diversity steps on and off,
equality is mandatory,
the ring of the bell controls this vessel.

Even the news is all in the same place,
stock markets mixed with Jordan's breakfast
recycling, recession and race.

Constant bass beats
filling the area with tutts and puffs
phone calls are not discreet.

Georgian buildings crash into wastefulness,
desolated areas come alive with the sound of workman,
high streets full of sights that manipulate us.

You see a lot more when you observe.
Observation is inspiration.
