Passing The Time Poem by Leah Michele

Time passes
And things change
I just can't keep up
Even when I try to write
Situations change
Before I can even finish

Will things ever stop
Or at least pause for awhile
So I can take it all in
Get a chance to absorb it all and adapt
Before things change again

Or will I be stuck playing catch up with life
Never getting to fully process and understand things as the happen
But have to look back; recall and remember
And try to make sense of these situations
Long after they are relevant and have passed
