Passion Where...This Year? - Poem by Richard Stilwell

One to the other,
One bare,
One covered,
Moving between the two.
Licking my lips in anticipation,
Rolling my eyes remembering,
But wiser making my way,
To a better place,
Where life can start,
Or be held back for years to come,
In the same rut,
And unhappy being there,
Unless resolutions are made,
To stop,
To go,
In this new year.

Oh this poem can travel on a couple of plains. I hope resolutions are made to go 'in' this coming new year. Happy holidays. (Report) Reply
