Past The Clouds Poem by Verus Sanguine

Past The Clouds

Every dropp of rain
More subtle than the last
My eyes fixed on the sky
As the gray clouds slowly pass

And I know I must be leaving soon
To where I've been all along
And I know you'll miss me
But you know I'll miss you too

Why don't you come with me?
And you'll be free, too
You will never worry
Nor shed a tear again

I loved your warm embrace
As your voice soothed my pain
And in your patience,
You gave me grace

Wait for these clouds to pass
To see where it all began
That's where I'll be waiting
To be with you again

(Chorus)

Use the breath you have left
To say those words that must be said
Your eyes will truly open
And I promise, you'll see me again

Why don't you come with me?
And you'll be free too
Be glad that I'm here now
And soon the rain will fade away,

The rain will fade away.
