Path - Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

The two sides
Head and tail
Good and bad
Of every thing
To be the essence

A virtuous man
And moderate
By nature
Appears blissful
The arrogant
Being snooty
Walks in fear
And frustration.

Prefer to follow
The short cuts
While climbing
Uphill task
And exhaust.

Common bent
Of people
To look splendid
And gorgeous
Arabian knights
Dressed in
The finest robes
With sparkling
Need weapons
To protect.

Ape so strong
For taking
Fast foods with
Synthetic drinks
Alluring ailments
And miseries
Uncalled for

There be
Natural way
Of simple living
And high thinking
To make this life
Every way.
