Paths Of Snakes Poem by Satish Verma

Paths Of Snakes

Sometimes I don't sleep.
Other times I sleep timeless to fire
salvoes like Sundews.

I am a daily eater.
Sundew is carnivorous. Keeps mouth
open, like a ready poet.

A celebrated story
I was the prince of metaphors till
last word born in the darkness of the bright moon.
