Patient Heart Poem by Trevor Schulte

Patient Heart

I wait here patiently,
for a friend out of time.
What I don't take in hand,
are facts of truth.
Athough I may fear it.
Patience is more supernatural
than an eager spirit.
Even though I await with a
warm feeling in mind,
I have to accept that it takes time.
The more time, the more hope.
Yet, as time goes breezing by,
you have to cherish every second
for it is my,
thoughts that count.
Your sweet voice keeps me on my toes,
and your extreme faith blooms like a rose.
Although time still awaits,
I have forgotten the calendar,
and the dates.
