Pay Slip Poem by Alistair Graham

Pay Slip

I went for a stroll,
as the crow flies,
through Belfast city centre

The bank buildings
chafed my ankles
so I kicked them up
out of their foundations
to the top of cave hill,
then bought three scarfs
in Primark
for the weavers
