Payback - Poem by Michael Lafferty

..Lies.. you have all been given..

Rain down the hollow screams
bring out the childrens dreams

Touchful bliss... Forbidden happiness... Suicidaly inclined

Dominating the human mind... forget their souls left behind! !

Rain down their hollow screams release the evil inside their dreams
where the darkness will no longer hide.. its killing you to get outside.

In dreams all evil is clear to see and watch they will..

waiting to see..

you fall from your cloud you once so highly stood
to catch the devil if only you could
and now! He'll never die... why won't you see! ?

His tools of torture have been released
and now his hell is real! !

Knives picking in and out of me
tears of sorrow are never set free
and... and.. now

Help me!
get him out!

We are nevermore....
he took our dreams...
he crowned our whores..

and now he thinks...

He wanted only evil he wanted only pain well satan

Now you will play my game..

Souls of the wastelands
i call forth upon thee
your suffering is over
its time you be set free
together we will run
into his darkness he will hide..

We'll turn back the tides of time
As He's Trapped in Icarus
a Parallel of doom
Satan your fate is sealed
Your soul is now mine

You have hurt us for the last time..

Powerful stuff. Recognizing the evil is the first step of combatting it, understanding and embracing it the unusual dissolution. Great write! (Report) Reply
