Peaceful Dominance Poem by Naomi Lewallen

Peaceful Dominance

Rating: 4.5

The moon, my love that comes alive at night.
And I, the ocean, helpless beneath him.
His silver light, his shining radiance
My brooding darkness, filled with precious life.
For eternity we are tightly bound.

My waves, my constant instability
His presence controls. Yet, he remains still.
Unable to rest, unable to escape, I
Am trapped. And he, so peaceful, seems to love
His dominance, my helpless submission.
