Peaches Poem by sean a Jones

Peaches

Peaches in light syrup better yet its natural juices,
Wow what emotions it produces,
You found me, better yet we found each other before the ball stopped,
When I first saw you my jaw dropped.
We both country and good folk,
You had me at the first word you spoke.
We standing still yet the room spin,
You rescued me from sin,
Let me be your redeemer-Boaz, I give you strength
In my inner room you can pitch your tent.
Holding hands as our mind cross foreign lands,
Places we never been, float on the winds,
Parkas and boots and sneakers and suits
Tell the waiter we want one of those private booths
My mind could only imagine what God made reality,
So I'm writing this before I meet you,
Heaven can witness I dreamed of you before I ever greet you
