Pebble Poem by Geovanni Leaño

Pebble

*I opened my first ever toy box*

There, I think i found you,
You are my favorite pebble,
the roughest of them all,
Rough you may seem to be,
Yet the love is betwee you and me,
Small you may seem to be,
but you have the largest place in me,
A pebble, it seems ordinary,
But you're extraordinary,
That among all the many,
I found you, then there was me,
A pebble, I may sound foolish,
But unlike the diamonds,
You're willing to take risks,
And for that, You are more beautiful,
And compared to my toys,
You are not fragile,
And for that, You are more beautiful,
I may be childish,
But if this is the only way to see your beauty,
I won't let it die out,
'Coz neglecting you seems more childish...
You are my favorite pebble,
You have the roughest edge,
But you have the smoothest existence,
You have the simplest beauty in me,
And you bring forth the smoothest delight.
