Peggy Ann Poem by Richard Roberts

Peggy Ann

She is a dream to me.
She is all that I wnat her to be.
She is simple.
She is bright. She has style.
and most always, she is right.
It is a relationship
that is sometimes stormy,
but also full of cheets.
We have lived together now
over forty years.
She is my friend.
She is my might.
She is my special garden
of delight.
But when things become disordered
and worries fill my cup,
This is what she says to me,
"Come on, Buster, straighten up".
