Perceptions Poem by Ryan Frenrey

Perceptions

Diluted eyes
In the contamination of color
An elevating distorted view

Whirlwinds that blur
Reality to obscurity
A captured picture untrue

Shadows that cloak illusions
Light that glimmers innocence
Deceiving lonesome minds

But to walk inside the iris
Transcend from the wavelengths
Until one reaches darkness
Truth there one finds
