Perennial Games Poem by Adebayo Timileyin

Perennial Games

Rating: 5.0

Terror that's moves with night
A merciless inhumane ghul
Darkness it's veil
You feel shivers miles away

Courage drove the vehicle of choice
Nurtured by hope,
Backed by surrender.
The decision of a million thoughts.

With a tired spirit I question where I am
All progresses shaken
With new fears awaken
Old welcomed new for old time's sake.

Heavy hits one after another
Heavy sighs one after the other
The golden decision falters
A million thoughts laid to waste.

Yet, another round awaits.

Tinnel.
