In my youth I lived with my parents in a Hungarian village south of Budapest. Our house was located
at the Petofi Street 6 in the center of the village.
Now, six is a perfect number because the sum of its divisors,
1 + 2 +3, is also six. Thus a perfect number is a whole number which equals the sum of its divisors, including 1 but excluding itself, as divisors. The next two perfect numbers, after 6, are 28 and 406. Perfect numbers grow rapidly in size (8128,33550336) and only few of them are known.
In any case, the fact that we lived at an address with a perfect number, did not give us a perfect life. When we lived there the Second World War and the Holocaust happened and when the war ended, communism descended on us.
In addition to all this disaster struck and my mother died at 37 when I was 11 years old.
