Perhaps

Perhaps if I
Was to die
You would be
Forever, eternally happy.

Perhaps it would
Give you great joy
If once again
He'd be your toy.

Perhaps if I
Was to cry,
You'd see it true
Never did i mean
To hurt you!

Perhaps if he
Had loved you,
Not me,
We'd still be
Friends.

Perhaps If I
Apologize just one
Last time,
You'd put this all behind...

Perhaps I should
Stop trying,
But I can't!

Perhaps this is
All just a waste.
I do not cater
To your taste.

Perhaps I should
Just forget you,
But how can I? !

Perhaps i should
Just walk away.
I guess this is the end.
What more can I say?
I'll miss you my friend.
