Perhaps They Are Not Poetry At All Poem by Shalom Freedman

Perhaps They Are Not Poetry At All

Rating: 5.0

I have been silent
But now at this moment
I am called from within
I do not know
What these lines will be
Perhaps they are not poetry at all
But as I write them
I am alive again
Something in me is being answered
And I feel as if all I want to do
Is write to the end of these lines
As I have done now

Not an unknown feeling by those that write an love poetry. Beautifully and fully expressed!

Any words that come forth are what we call poetry. It is so because I say so!
