Personal Constellation

2 beta stars beside each other:
the much-brighter Rigel, The Foot of giant Orion The Hunter;
Cursa, The Head of meandering Eridanus The River.

Currently:
the dimmer,
trope-demeaned to The Footstool, The Pouffe;
Rigel,
trope-deemed The Aloof.

My call:
the 2 constellations become one, Episkyros The Game;
Orion, The Player;
Rigel returns to just The Foot;
The Head becomes The Ball.

The Game's goal -
no, not the Black Hole -
Goal Star
alpha Achernar.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
beta stars are the second brightest (as seen by us)in their constellations.
the Ancient Greek ballgame Episkyros could be The Game.
Rigel is from the Arabic for 'foot',
Achernar """"""'end of the river'.
'The Aloof' is my assumption.
