Peshawar Attack #heartbroken Poem by utsav kadmawala

Peshawar Attack #heartbroken

It was a Tuesday
Like every other.
Another morning,
They went to school together.
They assembled in their classrooms
From grade one to ten,
Being groomed,
To be great men and women
They said goodbye to their parents
Worrying about maths, bio and chem as well,
They are still grieved for their absence,
Since they lost a fragment of themselves
It was then that they heard,
Two loud sounds,
Everything on the ground,
Became blurred
They rushed in haste
Arms at the ready
With no time to waste
They went, their feet steady
It was their motive to kill
As many as they could
Everyone was in mortal peril
I wont go into detail,
Frankly no one would
Without thinking of the sin being committed
Without showing an ounce of mercy,
Its really hard to admit
But this the truth of humanity
