Pessimism=realism Poem by Twisted Moon

Pessimism=realism

Rating: 5.0

Dear God,
I wanted to thank you for not doing to me what you've done to so many others,
For not taking me like you did my brother,
For refusing to leave the hearts of so many believers,
When so little of us are receivers,
Even with all of the things we go through,
There are still so many people blindly awaiting you,
I'm glad you aren't upset that I'm not waiting too,
And if you are really out there then why don't you come?
Do you just not care? Are you completely numb?
Is it just that we don't worship you enough?
Or are you just too busy playing up there with all your heavenly stuff?
Thanks for not being mad when you listen to a free mind ramble,
Sorry for the skepticism, I just never did like to gamble.

But if you are real, then please be gentle,
For all of my problems are purely mental,
And my loss of faith was accidental,
I don't know how it got this way,
Maybe I'll find you again someday,
But right now, I'm just scared, lost and confused,
A dark and lonely child, this world has abused,
And my faith in you, I'll continue to lose,
So I guess its up to you, save me if you choose.

Sincere....
