Peter Poem by Via Carr

Peter

Rating: 5.0

The day I first saw you
I looked at you intensely
Your soft and gentle eyes
filled with beauty I'm unable to describe
The wind combed her fingers through your hair
to make me jealous.
The sun kissed your face and made you blush
to draw envy from the wind.
Your muscles pushed there way through your shirt,
wanting to be seen by any who walked by.
You talked to me surprisingly,
and we heard the birds singing.
It reminded me of a song the angels sang to me,
the day before I was placed on earth.
And I knew in that moment,
the angels sang us the same song
so that when we met on earth
we would know we were meant to be.
