Petrichor Poem by Amarachi Eke

Petrichor

oh how I love the smell of rain
it's so good it ticks in my veins
the rain plays a lullaby on my roof at night
with all it's strength and might.
making me enjoy nature's true love bliss.
you could call me a pluviophile
I don't mind as long as I perceive a mile away.
the moment the rain kisses the land the magic happens
just like the streets of Athens.
oh how i love the rain
it makes me sane.
