Petrified

At the highpoint of the situation
I am drained and forced into hybernation.
A feeling to which I am aquainted,
this feeling of loss is all but tainted.
While I fall into a depressed state,
I see the hook which bared the bait.
My doom of doom in its finest wake
and I am all it needs - my heart to take.
It is by them I bare this rape.
Pushed into a feeling of numbness and pain,
all my efforts ahve died in vain.
As if I'd been electrified,
my soul is resting petrified.
