Ph: Faith: Human Hypocrisy

Human Hypocrisy

I should say right away I'm a hypocrite too,
But not "fool on a hill" (1) to excuse such behavior!
Do my poems mislead you, say I source what's true,
Or defer to Christ's 'TRUTH' that we all need a 'Savior? '

Is the 'King of all Hypocrites' known to be right,
Or defined to be "Right" by the fools in his shadow?
Might our actions, in truth, save our souls in God's sight?
Does earth's wildness prove life has no 'Saints, ' Desperado?

Tell me where in the Bible you find Christ condemn,
Throw first stones, or seek jail for identified sinners?
What makes "Christian" a 'Christian, ' is 'Right' synonym?
Or does 'Mercy' divide those of 'Faith' from beginners?

Is it Christian to pray for hypocrisy's death
And not know what you're doing might well mean your ending?
Should we struggle like Hamlet, be bold like Macbeth?
You'd call 'faith in what's Right' more than 'Grace' worth defending?
