Ph: Faith: My Bucket List's Empty Poem by Brian Johnston

Ph: Faith: My Bucket List's Empty

Though my bucket list's empty I have no regrets,
And "to do's" and "I need's" are "at home" in the trash!
Keep my credit cards current, forgive other's debts,
Like volcanic debris most my plans are just ash.

I'm born fresh with the sunrise; I die with the stars,
There are blessings each day and each night has its dreams,
I've adventures aplenty, need I go to Mars?
When you're traveling light, there's scant time for your schemes!

As forgiveness is gifting, I author no grudge,
And death's sting a small thing (in the shade of God's Grace) ,
Though "good works" bring all pleasure, can't cure the least smudge,
I think heaven will be the soft smile on God's face!
