Phobia Poem by douglas lewis

Phobia

Rating: 5.0

I can feel it
Like a fog.
It is cloaking.
It lays heavy
On my breath
Like a grey quilt
Stitched to my lips.
It then rolls and swirls
In a pattern
Of whispers and rumours.
I suck for air.
All I get are wisps of lint.
