Phoenix Poem by Jureca Failanga

Phoenix

The moment's turbulence;
Led us to the limbo of broken dreams;
Blinding us from the faith of our struggle.
Burning ourselves in the inferno,
Of anger and desperate resolutions,
Turning us into ashes of hopeless souls.
Scattered by the storm of crises.
In time, the dust of dead stars,
collected by the wind of deep-seated idealism
and brotherhood,
Will be reunited!
Slowly moving within
Until it gains enough vigor and strength to move,
Rapidly! Rapidly! Rapidly!
Then, the phoenix becomes
The legend no more!
