Photographers Poem by RIC BASTASA

Photographers

they go to placid lakes
to find the pictures of nature's best
these fishers
of the faces of nature's bliss

the green marshes of the pond
the fading sun
the fish coming out of the water
a leaf floating
the pines blown by the wind

shall they capture too the scent
of the flowers?
the pungent snake hiding under
the rotten bark of trees?
