I've been thinking about you
For a long time now
Why couldn't we make it work?
Why couldn't we make it last?

I still keep a picture of you
On the bedside table
I look at it every night
Wishing you were here with me

I still love you
I want you back to stay
‘Cos without you
I'd just drink the memories of you away
I still love you
So come back home

That picture of you
Is all I've got now
Every night I cry
A pillow of tears

Still I miss you
I can't get you out of my mind
Without you my life is
Moving between the shades
Dark and grey

At the end of the day

I still love you
I want you back to stay
