Picturesque Beauty Poem by O. A.

Picturesque Beauty

Picturesque Beauty

Portraits,
Hanging on the wall
Of my lucid eyes, my vorpal mind
Of a winter cold world, synergized
With pied snowflakes, sauntering down
Like pieces of P.N.E. cotton candy caramelized
Before my curious self, realized in a picturesque moment
As a lost snowflake touches down on my curled up lips...
And I lick the frozen winter pattern of water molecules quick! ! !
Like an amphibian toad, extending then retracting my tongue
Looking for a piece of tranquility in nature's bountiful beauty...
And then I know, now again:
With my canvasing wide-eyes
With the frost on the porch
With the birds migrating south
With the trees turning all white
With kids coming outside the house
With nature showcasing its brightside
That it's the first snow of the year
And once again, now in Vancouver B.C.
Winter is finally here...
