When the night refuses to bring the joy of the morning
I will keep my eyes on the pillar of hope
When the day cannot do without putting tears on my face
I will keep my eyes on the pillar of hope
When the heavens refuse to come down to my aid
I will keep my eyes on the pillar of hope
When the thorns keep making me dance the dance of sorrow
I will keep my eyes on the pillar that brings the hope of tomorrow
When the world start singing their songs of no hope
I will not be overwhelmed by the power of sorrow
My heart may be filled with pain now
I have the hope that my soul will be comforted
Because there is a pillar that I have
It is called the pillar of hope.
