Visit to naturally formed caves
Always it turns out
Into a memorable adventure
For the curious visitor.

Calcium mineral drips from above
Result in stalactites hanging from top
Droplets that fall build up from bottom
Forming fatter stalagmites standing up.

Formations turn into wonderlands
Of unimaginable beauties
Geometric shapes're intricate indeed
As if created by the Almighty.

Caves of Drach on Mallorca Island're
Nature's fascinating creations in Spain
Our visit as part of cruise vacation
Turned into a marvelous exploration.

It's often reported that a certain cave
Was discovered by a foreigner
This to me is not a believable statement
The local people sure knew it long.

It's likely that someone built a path for others
To visit the caves with ease and appreciate
Viewing a cave refreshes the mind and lets one know
The centuries of work of pillars of our progress.
