Pills - Won'T Do It Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Pills - Won'T Do It

Pills won't do it,
Drinks won't do it,
Take another little spin,
For pleasures within.

That's the only way to go,
And I surely think you know;
Strait ahead Downtown Street,
Walk with your slumping feet.
Fill your lungs with freshest air,
It's delicious to have it there;
That's the way it ought to be,
See the forest behind the tree.

Pills won't do it,
Drinks won't do it,
Take another little spin,
For pleasures within.

It's easy to slip, to and fro,
Have a trick before a treat,
Never knowing what's out there,
Because, your navel, you only see.
