Pinocchio



i am aware of two things:
what is done and what is said
they are couples estranged
one lives on the other side of the river
behaving like a fox,
the other lives in an island with lions
behaving like a squirrel,
it is hard to discern and pretend
as though nothing is happening
right under our noses
