Pity The Violets Poem by RIC BASTASA

Pity The Violets

in the desert
some tiny flowers grow

the sands are blown by the wind
and we cover our eyes

we do not want to be harmed
we continue walking

in the desert some tiny
violets still grow as tiny as sand

no wind is that so cruel
to blow them all away
