Pizzeria Poem by Moth Harris

Pizzeria

Been sitting here, just waiting, just wishin'
Been waiting here, just sitting, listen.
Before I saw you there, I didn't know what I was missin'.
It's obvious that it was you.

When your eyes met mine, I saw them glisten.
I started reminiscin' but realized I had never seen you.
I'd've sworn we've met before,
those eyes of yours that I adore.
No it was just you.

Maybe in a past life we had met
That's as close as I'd ever get
As I walked away from that pizzeria
Your pretty eyes will have to remain within my idea.
