I wish my mind was plain,
No thoughts of her to strain,
No memories to haunt,
No pain to stunt,

I wish my heart was plain,
No love for her again,
No feelings to betray,
No tears to slay.

I wish my life was plain,
No reason to complain,
No reason to be sad,
No reason to be mad.

But my mind is not plain,
My heart is not plain,
My life is not plain,
And I'm not the same.

I'm broke, i'm blue,
I'm lost, i'm confused,
I'm all alone,
And I don't know what to do.

But i know one thing,
I will get through this,
I will find a way,
To move on and away.

I will find a way,
To make my mind plain,
To make my heart plain,
To make my life plain.

And when i do,
I will be whole again,
I will be happy again,
I will be me again.
