Plane Ride - Poem by Elizabeth Walker

As the plane leaves the ground people dissappear
then over the intercom the captain's voice you'll hear
then you look out the windo and see the patchwork of the ground
as you get higher the clouds you have found
now you're in the air flying safe and sound
then it's time to land again time to hit the ground.
