Planet Earth Is Ours Too Poem by Hebert Logerie

Global warming is very real
The earth does not stand still
We can feel it moving
Turning and breathing
We need to protect our planet
Just like we protect the Internet
For the next generation
Now is the time to take action
Many countries are losing their coastlines
We see the changes with our own eyes
The iceberg is melting away, less ice
Due to excessive carbon dioxide
Due to human behavior
Due to human carelessness and error
We're paying a very heavy price
We need to protect the environment
Plant more trees, protect the sediments
The ocean is taking over our beaches
This is not about being poor or being rich
Our planet needs more than a global agreement
Global warming is very real; this is very urgent
This is very important: we must love our planet now
Protect it now, not yesterday. We all know how
Stop the pollution, stop the emission
These should be our priorities now, our mission
Global warming is very real
We all feel it. La Niña is real
We all smell it. El Niño is real
Small islands are drowning
People are disappearing
We all feel the changes in the weather pattern
Planet Earth is ours, our home, not Saturn
Please get involved to protect Mother Earth
And the future generation! Protect our turf
Global warming is very real
The carbon is real, the heat is real
Planet Earth is ours too
Spread the real news
Not the senseless fake news
Planet Earth belongs to us too.
